Misery

Haven’t been this sick and miserable since, oh, about this time last year. The stomach has stopped working, is bloated, the pain now mostly in the chest. Breathing hurts. There is no getting comfortable. Hope it passes by Saturday …

Update from Mrs. C

Jeff was admitted to the hospital for a heart attack according to preliminary blood work.  Please spare a Hail Mary or two for him.  God bless you for your generosity.  LeXuan

  1. I got the update from Bill Luse’s site.

I am praying hard for all of you. PapaC went through this a couple of years ago.

LeXuan, it’s scary as the wife and mommy. Know that I am holding you especially close in my prayers today.

  2. I am so sorry to hear this, but am glad he is in the hospital receiving treatment. May God guide his doctors, and grant Jeff a full recovery.

    My prayers continue.

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help or sought thy intersession, was left unaided.

Inspired with this confidence, I fly to thee, O Virgin of Virgins, my Mother; to thee do I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful; O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy, hear and answer me. Amen.

  3. I will pray daily for Jeff and your family. I read the blog daily, and, like many/most, have been inspired by Jeff’s writings and opinions… This is shocking news… God Bless.

  5. THE WHISPER

    I sent a whisper
    O’er the moon,
    Through clouds
    In wispy gowns.

    I sent a whisper,
    Bounced on fog,
    Blanketing little
    Towns.

    I sent a whisper
    To the sea
    And shore
    Where sea-shells found,

    For sea-shells
    Hold the whisperer’s breath…
    That God’s love
    Knows no bounds!

I whisper many Hail Marys for you and your family this night.

  6. Thank you all for your prayers. Jeff is coming home tomorrow. It appeared that he didn’t have a heart attack. The cause of all this excitement may be traced back to an old ailment recurring now after over two decades.

    Deo gratias!

I hope Jeff will be well soon.
Best wishes and my prayers for all your family.
