  1. On McCain: He was never my first choice. However, I believe in his stand on life, and in his intention to nominate the kind of Supreme Court Justice we so desperately need.

On that CatholicVote.com video: I saw it for the fist time and passed it on to my email list. It is powerful! IMO no Catholic can afford to be on the sidelines in this election, or to waste his vote on a third party. Obama/Biden is so dangerous for this country; and the thought of an Obama victory coming to pass is chilling.

I woke up in the wee hours this morning (3:34, to be exact) and the prayer came immediately to my mind: Jesus, have mercy on us! My family, my country, the world. We are so in need of mercy… And then I thought of the Scripture that I know by heart, and it gave me comfort:

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

And getting more chilling by the day.

“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”

    Amen.

  3. Motherhood is the ultimate profession.
It is a sacred duty assigned to women by our Creator. To fail at it is to fail HIM.

Where is the outrage by women and Christians particularly at a women who leaves a challenged child in the hands of others while she goes off to save the world?

Why be pro-life if you are not pro-family?
