He’s looking more robust already. I’m getting the sense we have proud papa behind all these pictures.
Theodore may be coming home next week. What, me a proud papa? It’s useless trying to hide it. :-)
I love it when they’re new and almost look like they’re smiling despite the fact that they are allegedly too young to smile.
I got to see his little smile up close last night. Some said he was just passing gas: I prefer to think he was dreaming about coming home.
So adorable! I’m so thankful he’s almost ready to come home; all of you need the rest and comfort of your own space.
And, Jeff, I think they smile a LOT sooner than most people say they do! :)
I’m with Beth. The smiles are there very early: they tend to be flashes, a kind of shadow of a smile, because the little ones can’t manipulate their facial muscle yet.
By the way, plenty of people smile when they pass gas. Ain’t nothing wrong with that.

We were hoping that he would come home today, but the docs want to keep him until his condition improves a little more.
