  1. I noted those comments as well. In my years interacting on forums and blogs I discerned that there were three subjects that one could safely bet would inspire people to be willing to run over their own grandmother for a chance to gainsay: Chastity (ask Dawn Eden), repentance, and forgiveness.

  2. Ah, very true. Repentance and forgiveness are the hardest things in the world. Human pride recoils. They are impossible, alas, apart from divine grace.
